Qitmeer Community Weekly Recap
Hello Qitmeerians! It is with our utmost pleasure to give the community a weekly Recap starting this week!
So what’s with the recap? It is simple, the team will be providing a brief article on what’s new with the Qitmeer Network on a weekly basis and not only that, the weekly article will also focus on answering the queries of the community!
For starters, what’s new this week? So here it is, we are proud to announce that the “Qitmeer Network has exclusively created the issuance method of general certificate assets backed up by base currency!” This is indeed a milestone for us which makes us very proud and we will continue to thrive and solve real-world issues using our ideas! The next one is that we have released a Development Report about the EVM launch, per the roadmap, Qitmeer Networks Mainnet will integrate EVM in April of 2022 but that was not met for one simple reason “security & safety” that’s why our team conducted several tests and technically speaking this test takes time, please click the link

Now on the community’s side, many of our members asked and still ask about their “PMEER” and what they should do about it or how they could transfer it, here is the answer, PMEER token is now “obsolete” which means it is not usable and has no value. PMEER was mapped to MEER last year, and the last date for mapping was the 26th of September 2021, all PMEERs that were not mapped within this date were considered of no value, PMEERS which are still in KAHF WALLET will be gone when the user updates the KAHF wallet into it’s latest version, the latest version does not support PMEER but it now supports the Mainnet token MEER.
Edit: We would like to inform our users that the Qitmeer team has decided to open a mapping channel! This will give a chance to those who missed the mapping last year. PMEER to MEER mapping will be available at a later date, so stay up!
