When blockchain geeks juiced up virtual machines on steroids, joined forces with AI mind-readers, lightning-speed wallet maniacs, and cyber sentinels, only to get meme-bombed by the Philippines’ trippy bingo card frenzy — that’s Qitmeer’s April!

🚀 Technical Progress

This month, we rolled out several enhancements and fixes on the dev2.1-ollama branch to boost system stability and streamline the release process. Highlights include:

Feature Updates

  • Meerevm Module Upgrade Upgraded from v1.15.7 to v1.15.8, improving EVM compatibility and execution efficiency.

Bug Fixes & Optimization

  • Block Sync Message Type Fix: Resolved mismatched message types during block sync, enhancing node communication stability.
  • macOS Build Compatibility: Fixed linker warnings during macOS builds: ld: warning: ignoring duplicate libraries: '-lobjc'.
  • CI Workflow Fix: Ensured CI runs smoothly under updated environments for continuous integration stability.

Branch Merge

  • Successfully merged lochjin:dev2.1_ollama into the main Qitmeer:dev2.1-ollama branch, aligning our codebase across teams.

New Collaborations

  • April 21 Update — We proudly partnered with @DDAI_Network, a pioneer in distributed AI assistants with emotional intelligence. Together, we aim to democratize access to powerful AI technologies and enable real-time, automated intelligent services for global communities.
  • April 23 Update — Strategic partnership with @PhoenicToken! As a leader in next-gen mobile lightning wallets, Phoenic joins us to revolutionize on-chain financial services with seamless user experiences.
  • April 30 Update — We’re Partnering with @DeepSafe_AI! As the world’s first Cryptographic Random AI Verification Network, DeepSafe joins forces with us to transform Web3’s security landscape.

Qitmeer Network Bingo Card Making Contest

From April 6 to 11, we hosted our Qitmeer Network Bingo Card Design Contest, drawing vibrant participation from our enthusiastic community in the Philippines. Participants creatively combined core Qitmeer elements — such as $MEER, BlockDAG, PoW, EVM, and HiddenGem — into fun, meme-worthy bingo cards, strengthening community bonds and boosting brand visibility on social media.

From dozens of entries, 16 were shortlisted, with 5 outstanding winners selected. A big shout-out to all the talented creators!
