Dear Qitmeer community users, please upgrade your QNG nodes to the latest version “qng version 1.0.16+release-713801d” and resynchronize your data, this version solves the inaccuracy during MUB transfer.

With the EVM compatibility of the Qitmeer network, the native Meer Coin can be equivalently converted between UTXO and Account Balance, allowing you to equivalently convert Meer UTXO on the main chain to Meer Balance in MeerEVM at a 1:1 ratio to participate in a wide range of DeFi applications, as well as Meer Balance can be transferred back to the main chain at any time. We refer to the channel between the two as the MUB Channel, i.e., the channel through which Meer assets are transferred between UTXO and Account Balance.

As we know, the data precision is 18 Decimals under the Etherium standard, while the Qitmeer main chain data precision is only 8 Decimals, i.e. 1Meer=100,000,000Qit. In the previous version, when transferring UTXO from MeerEVM to Qitmeer main chain, there were losses in the amount due to inconsistent precision. This issue only exists in the MUB transfer process and does not affect other services. In the latest version 1.0.16+release, the issue of inaccuracy is fixed. To ensure the integrity of Qitmeer network services, all full-node operators are requested to upgrade their nodes to the latest version and resynchronize the block data. Please execute the “ — cleanup” command to clear the old data before officially starting the node.

The latest QNG nodes are available for download at

The QNG network is now stable, MeerEVM is running normally, and all developers are welcome to build in the Qitmeer exosystem. Thank you for your support!
