With the arrival of 2024, we have entered a critical moment of continuous development for Qitmeer Network. Over the past month, our team has not only made important progress in technology development, but also strengthened community cohesion through unique event operations.

Technology development progress
PKScript support SegwitWitness:
In continuous improvements and upgrades, we have added support for SegwitWitness to PKScript, providing a technical foundation for more secure and efficient transactions.
BUG FIX:
Fixed the problem of inconsistent state root calculation resulting in inability to perform block synchronization, and other bugs affecting block synchronization. At the same time, Segregated Witness (SegWit) and Taproot have been optimized to improve network performance.
GPT-2.0 Statistics:
GPT-2.0 statistics are introduced to provide support for more comprehensive data analysis and network performance monitoring.
Mixnet Performance Testing:
In the recent update, we’ve made substantial strides in enhancing performance on the Qitmeer network. We are currently prioritizing the testing of Mixnet for performance stability and its capacity to handle frontend browser loads. Our primary goal is to decrease block generation time and boost transactions per second (TPS). Currently, the network operates with a 1-second block generation time, with anticipated exponential growth in TPS.

🔸Explore the Qitmeer Network, share 20,200 MEER
In order to increase the exposure of Qitmeer Network, we held a large-scale exclusive content creation competition to encourage community users to deeply understand and spread Qitmeer Network.
The first event received a total of 35 works, bringing 58,590 views and followers to Qitmeer Network. Among them, 27 entries were awarded a total of 5,920 MEER, and the most popular video work received 1,000 MEER rewards.
The event prize pool still has 14,280 MEER. Welcome everyone to continue participating in the content creation of Qitmeer Network and contributing to its development together!

🔸DimAI’s Christmas & New Year NFT Creation event ended successfully
On January 7, DimAI’s Christmas & New Year NFT creation event concluded successfully.
A total of 1,958 NFTs were created on the Qitmeer Network chain, 680 of which were rated as outstanding works, with a high winning rate of 34.7%.
Each outstanding NFT artwork is eligible to win a reward of 300 DIM, and in addition, the 4,100 MEER reward has been successfully distributed to exceptional creators.
