Technological Progress 🚀

This month, our R&D team focused on four key areas: feature enhancement, bug fixes, performance optimization, and dependency upgrades. Highlights include breakthroughs in Snap Sync implementation, mining subsidy functionalities, network node mechanisms, and developer toolchain improvements, all contributing to greater system performance and stability.

New Features (feat)

SnapSync Implementation:

  • Completed core architecture design for SnapSync.
  • Introduced preliminary support for syncing blockchain data through snapshots, reducing node synchronization time from the genesis block.
  • Optimized node synchronization mechanisms for better performance and stability.

P2P Network Support for SnapSync:

  • Enabled SnapSync data transmission in the P2P protocol for efficient snapshot propagation between nodes.
  • Extended SnapSync support to Meerevm, enhancing compatibility across different blockchain environments.

Mining Subsidy Features:

  • ExpectDailySubsidy: Added a feature to calculate expected daily subsidy values.
  • SubsidyInfo JSON Optimization: Improved JSON data representation for easier parsing and utilization.
  • estimateBlocksMined API: Introduced an API to estimate the number of mined blocks.

Network and Startup Enhancements:

  • Optimized RelayNode startup server performance and reliability.
  • Enabled dynamic retrieval of Meerevm Bootnodes via DNS servers.

Developer Tools and Processes:

  • CI pipeline now supports automated contract package generation.

Bug Fixes (fix/bug):

  • Resolved queue processing issue in Meer Pool, improving system stability.
  • Fixed node exit stuttering problems.

Optimizations:

  • Enhanced Snap Status Locker to improve concurrency performance.
  • Updated the LICENSE file to reflect changes in copyright terms.

Dependency Updates (build/deps):

  • Upgraded github.com/golang-jwt/jwt/v4 from version 4.5.0 to 4.5.1, addressing security and functionality improvements.

DepinTech promotes the construction of decentralized 5G networks, while Qitmeer provides blockchain support to achieve deep integration of technology and practical applications, allowing every user to participate in network expansion and build a win-win ecosystem.

Collaborating with Turkey’s local cultural project, integrating Qitmeer technology into NFTs and tokens, exploring new markets with cultural characteristics, and exploring new possibilities for globalization and localization innovation.

ATUA AI’s intelligent content creation combined with Qitmeer’s blockchain technology provides users with new tools to improve efficiency and stimulate creativity, driving the development of Web3 productivity.

Joining hands with FurGPT to create a new virtual pet art experience, using blockchain technology to promote digital creativity from viewing to interaction, bringing more immersion to users.

By combining DO Network’s high-performance solutions with Qitmeer’s innovative architecture, we can jointly improve the speed and intelligence level of decentralized networks, setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Cloud Service leader Digitalabs collaborates with us to accelerate global computing resource optimization through blockchain to meet future large-scale application needs.

Defending innovation and exposing the 99% replication truth of BlockDAG 🛡️

Qitmeer Network has always upheld the spirit of open source and firmly opposes any unauthorized plagiarism. The true value of open source lies in promoting sharing and cooperation, rather than becoming a tool for technology appropriation.

We recently discovered that the “BlockDAG Network” project has extensively plagiarized Qitmeer’s core design in multiple key technical aspects. This not only seriously infringes on our intellectual property rights, but also has a negative impact on the integrity ecology of the entire blockchain industry.

Shockingly, our core code overlaps with the BlockDAG project by as much as 99%, showing obvious traces of duplication in details such as variable naming and version numbers. We call on the industry to jointly resist such infringement and maintain technical originality and industry fairness.

Enhance security awareness: Ensure that your blockchain assets are not lost

This month, the blockchain security audit company CertificK reported that the Dexx platform on the Solana chain had account assets cleared due to a private key management vulnerability, resulting in losses of over 100 million yuan.

After analysis, the Qitmeer Team suggested that to protect asset security, users should avoid operating on untrusted platforms, properly backup private keys and mnemonics, be vigilant against phishing attacks, and regularly update security settings.

This incident highlights the importance of asset security. Qitmeer Team calls on all parties in the industry and users to jointly enhance security awareness, adopt strict security management measures, and promise to continue developing secure and reliable blockchain solutions to help establish a more secure and trustworthy financial ecosystem. Only by working together with the platform and users can the security of digital assets be truly guaranteed.

Qitmeer Network Halloween challenge

From November 1st to November 3rd, we launched a creative Halloween challenge for the Philippines community. We invited community members to create unique Halloween artworks inspired by the Qitmeer Network logo.

This event quickly ignited the enthusiasm of creators and brought countless wonderful submissions. After the review, a total of 15 works stood out, of which 5 were rated as excellent and 9 won special awards. These works fully demonstrate the unparalleled creativity and artistic talent of our community users.

Bring me NFT themed Bull run

From November 12th to November 17th, we successfully hosted the “Bull Run” event with NFT as the theme. Many talented creators showcased their extraordinary creativity on the DimAI platform.

During the event, we witnessed the creation of 6 outstanding pieces. The creators uploaded their works to the @WoowowGlobal market and shared them in the Qitmeer Global and DimAI Global Telegram groups. Meanwhile, a wave of NFT enthusiasm also erupted on social media platform X, and works with creative descriptions and relevant tags further expanded the impact of the event.

This month, we kicked off a creative meme competition themed “The Importance of Originality and Qitmeer Network’s Intellectual Property Protection”. Participants unleashed their creativity, producing 17 extraordinary works, each showcasing unique talent and profound insights.
