Technology development progress
- Wallet Module Upgrade: We have made important improvements to the wallet module “acct model”, enhancing functionality and making wallet operations more flexible and efficient. This update will provide a better user experience.
- Database optimization: We have carried out optimization work on the database, including address index, illegal transaction index, and index manager optimization. This will significantly improve data processing and query efficiency.
- Cost estimation optimization: We have optimized the cost estimation database to ensure the accuracy and reliability of cost estimation.
- Windows platform support optimization: We have added the function of automatically detecting the operating system and setting the output suffix to better support compiling on the Windows platform.
- EVM upgrade: We upgraded the EVM dependency to version 1.13.1 to maintain compatibility with the latest Ethereum technology and standards.
- Database health check: The database now supports checks on api:db to ensure the health and consistency of the database.
- Performance optimization: We performed database performance optimization and fixed some database switching errors to improve overall system performance and stability.

User Education: Raising Asset Security Awareness
Recently, we have some small concerns. Since the second half of 2023, there have been 5 asset security incidents in our community, resulting in a total of about 28,000 USDT and 89528 MEER assets missing. However, don’t worry, we have prepared some practical tips for you to help protect your encrypted assets.
💌 Beware of private messages: Please note that Qitmeer Team will not private message you, so if someone claims to be an official representative private message to you, please be vigilant and do not easily provide personal information or sensitive information.
🕵️ Verify identity security: To confirm that you are communicating with a real Qitmeer Team member, you can verify their identity through the official verification channel. This will provide you with additional security.
🚫 Be wary of unfamiliar links: Never click on unfamiliar links, especially those that are unclear. When downloading applications or software, remember to download from official channels to avoid falling into traps.
🔑 Backup mnemonics and private key: Make sure your mnemonic and private key are properly backed up to prevent theft. It’s like your blockchain safes, always keep it closed.

Upgrade of KAHF wallet
We are upgrading and maintaining some key infrastructure of Qitmeer Network, especially the transfer function between UTXO and EVM in KAHF wallet. This may cause some temporary inconvenience during the upgrade, but please don’t worry. Qitmeer Network is a fully decentralized and community-governed blockchain network. As long as the network nodes are running normally, your asset transfer and other functions will continue to work normally.
More importantly, this upgrade will not affect the transfer and transaction of QNG network, that is, EVM (MEER), and you can still perform these operations as usual. In addition, we also provide some interesting technical documents and tutorials to help you learn how to use qx tools for UTXO (MEER) transfers. This will provide you with a great opportunity to learn new skills!
